Visiting local pubs has always been one of the most enjoyable aspects of our trips to Britain. Over the years, my wife and I have visited a lot of pubs in Wales, England, and Scotland, where we've enjoyed real ale and some very good meals. We always enjoy chatting with people about their lives, and their thoughts on any number of subjects. To me it's the best way to get to know people, and the area we're exploring.
