Question #2

"I'm the grand old man of Welsh castles and my survival represents something of a milestone. Although my history spans the entire castle-building period, my walls witnessed no major battles. One of my towers is named after a famous prisoner who was once my guest. What castle am I and can you explain my riddle?"
Yes, the correct answer is CHEPSTOW CASTLE!
Chepstow is the oldest-surviving stone castle in Britain. Although for much of its life Chepstow was a strategically important castle, it never played a major part in any battles. The castle's most famous tower, the Marten tower was named after Henry Marten who languished as a prisoner at Chepstow for some 20 years.
