In the town of Nefyn, Gwynedd, North Wales SH306408

Historian Mike Salter claims that there are no traces of this former motte castle. Malcolm Ransom took the photo above and believes this might be the remains of the motte, however this notion is disputed by a local resident who claims that:
"I live in Nefyn and this mound you have in the photograph was constructed out of rubble when the new playing field was built as an elevated starting point to put the rope slide and metal slide on. Previously, when the old playing field was there, there was no mound that I remember there."
